Description

The Healthfirst Enterprise Analytics team provides our clinical leadership organization with information to drive more efficient and effective operations, as well as improved health and quality outcomes for our members. The Senior Clinical Analyst is responsible for understanding the complex business and data flow needs of our other clinical departments and works with them to translate goals into informative and actionable analysis.

  • Leads the delivery of analytical roadmap(s) for clinical departments.
  • Oversees and performs impact and/or ROI analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of internal or external procedures to improve member quality outcomes.
  • Produces compelling dashboards and/or visual analysis using Tableau or other analytical tools.
  • Coordinates, facilitates, and manages meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Oversees the production of regular reports & dashboards that capture authorization, care management, behavioral health, and claims data

  • Monitors the daily needs of cross-departmental stakeholders to ensure they are provided with the right information at the right time.
  • Additional duties as assigned. 

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • HS diploma/GED

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Undergraduate degree in healthcare, business, or analytic field.
  • Master’s Degree in Public Health, Public Administration, or MBA.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
  • Excellent analytical background/experience and common sense to investigate, analyze, and report metrics and identify data trends.
  • Advanced data manipulation and reporting skills a plus (SAS, R, Excel, Qlikview, Tableau, etc.).
  • Prior experience with healthcare quality or operational reporting.
  • Time and project management, critical/creative thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to create and lead presentations and communicate to both technical and non-technical audience.
  • Willingness to learn new systems and technical language.
