The Provider Data Management (PDM) Team Lead Operations Specialist will manage a team and provide effective guidance. The Team lead will mentor, lead and identify process improvement for the team. They are responsible for over-seeing Provider onboarding and day to day operations. This will be accomplished by monitoring, coaching to meet performance production standards and ensuring all deadlines are met timely and accurately.

  • Supervises team of Operation Specialists
  • Reports and review production activity, ensuring staff is working to maximum capacity
  • Ensures provider onboarding and demographic updates are made timely and accurately
  • Provides support and leadership to team, manages timecard approval process and coordinates time away requests
  • Provides Turn Around Time (TAT) Reports to management
  • Leads the performance appraisal process, which includes gathering input from stakeholders, determining appropriate performance review rating, preparing and delivering reviews
  • Setting clear team goals, delegating tasks and setting deadlines for team
  • Oversees day-to-day operations
  • Coordinates the assignments with internal teams to on-board new account relationships
  • Attends ad hoc meetings and leads provider meetings as appropriate
  • Responds to ad hoc regulatory, credentialing and compliance specific queries
  • Participates in or leads projects related to the business’ and teams’ overall priorities
  • Additional duties as assigned 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience
  • Experience managing, coaching and mentoring
  • In-depth knowledge of performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Decision-making skills
  • Understanding Network Management
  • Experience working as a liaison with providers and internal support groups
  • MS Office and computer proficient  (i.e. Excel, V lookup, pivot, formulas, reporting)
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
  • Experience with MHS, DocuSign and CRM software
  • Familiarity with CAQH, Credentialing, and Provider rosters
  • Experience with SharePoint
