Healthfirst is seeking a Sr. Application Developer,  Bus Intelligence (Qlikview/Qliksense).  The Senior Developer designs and develops programs/processes that automate specific business processes by working with various business units/departments to satisfy their requirements. This is a critical role that requires QlikView & QlikSense experience.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Consult with clients to analyze and understand functions to be automated, client needs, objectives, desired features, and input and output requirements.
  • Analyze, define, and document system requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs.
  • Analyze and estimate feasibility, time, compatibility with other systems, and computer capabilities.
  • Analyze, assist installs, and test upgrades of internally/externally developed application programs.  
  • Develop and maintain plans outlining steps and time tables for developing, testing, and installing applications.
  • Design and code screen layouts, graphical user interfaces, printed outputs, and interfaces with other systems.
  • Demonstrate expertise in one or many of Healthfirst's programming languages.
  • Write and maintain functional and technical specifications. Convert designs and specifications into computer code.
  • Write and maintain documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections.
  • Write documentation or review documentation written by others which describes installation and operating procedures.
  • Create test scenarios and run test to find errors and confirm program meets specifications.
  • Analyze codes to find causes of errors and revise programs.
  • Consult with clients to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to attain client approval.
  • Analyze, assist installs, and test upgrades of internally/externally developed application programs.
  • Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or questions with program
  • Train end users or technical support staff to use programs
  • Monitor performance of programs after implementation.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Min. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or related, or foreign equivalent plus minimum of 4 years of experience in the analysis, design, development and support of large scale enterprise applications.

SPECIFIC SKILLS & Other Minimum REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4 years of experience in Clinical Healthcare domain.
  • 4 years of experience in  HEDIS Care gaps, RX Medication Adherence, Member Satisfaction surveys, HRA surveys for creating the executive dashboards.
  • 4 years of experience in Clinical Processes, Pharmacy Claims processing, FW&A (Fraud, Waste & Abuse) and Drug Utilization metrics.
