Senior Integration Architect

The Senior Integration Architect will be responsible for leading one or more application development teams at Healthfirst to deliver and support new and existing capabilities to end users. The development teams include developers, system analysts, architects, programmer analysts, and vendors. This individual will collaborate closely with key business stakeholders to define the product roadmap and then deliver against that roadmap. He/she will also ensure the technical aspects of the applications and the teams’ software development practices are continually improved. This individual will be a part of the functionally-aligned application development domain’s leadership team.

This role is within the Clinical & Delivery System Engagement domain focusing on Digital Provider Engagement, specifically HIE-Health Information Exchange, Provider Portal, Network Management developing real time integrations to exchange clinical, visit, coverage and quality data using industry standards like HL7 FHIR, Messaging and Documents.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the roadmap planning of the applications in your portfolio.
  • Plan and manage the delivery of new features.
  • Manage the operations and production support of the applications in your portfolio.
  • Manage, grow, and mentor the development teams.
  • Ensure the application architecture follows best practices.
  • Manage vendors in your portfolio.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Minimal travel expected


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
  • Solid Experience in Integration with in Enterprise and External Enterprise using Messaging and API's.
  • Experience working with Integration products such as MuleSoft, APIGEE, Tibco, IBM etc.
  • Significant experience leading application development teams using Agile methodology.
